Concert included in the parallel program of the exhibition Vita Prima. Sint Anthony in Portugal, which will be open to the public until 9pm, with free admission from 6pm.

The Air Force Music Band, besides participating in official military ceremonies both within the scope of the Portuguese Air Force and the State protocol, contributes as an element of cultural promotion to the enrichment of the Portuguese musical environment, performing concerts all over the country and internationally.

Created on December 31st, 1957, its main conductor is Major António Rosado, also responsible for the Air Force Fanfares, assisted by Captain Rui Silva and Ensign Artur Rouquina.

After the concert, at 21h30, the film Shadows, by John Cassavettes, will be screened.

In a local partnership between Museu de Lisboa, Junta de Freguesia de Alvalade and Alvalade Cineclube, the concert and the screening of cinema classics in the garden of the Museu de Lisboa - Palácio Pimenta are part of the cultural programme of Junta de Freguesia de Alvalade, Alval'arte.
