Saint Anthony's batucadas

Batuques are an important part of the cult of the Orishas. The temporary exhibition Dialogues of fire: Exu, Ogun and Xangô. Saint Anthony in Afro-Brazilian Mythology opens the door to an incursion into the rituals of Afro-Brazilian spiritual culture, in which music and percussion play a key role. The sound of the batucada calls for dance and mysticism to please and evoke the deities, inviting us to broaden the horizons of devotion.
