Journalist and writer Ferreira Fernandes and illustrator Nuno Saraiva are April's guests in the cycle "Who writes about you, Lisbon?". They bring with them Crónicas de Lisboa, a book published by ASA in 2023 in which they share with readers some of the stories they love to tell about the city.

About the authors

Ferreira Fernandes (Luanda, 1948) is one of Portugal's most renowned journalists, having worked for Público, Diário Popular, Visão, Sábado and Diário de Notícias, among other publications. He has received several awards for his reporting, including the Bordalo – Journalist of the Year award (Casa da Imprensa) and the Journalist of the Year award (Clube de Jornalistas do Porto). He is one of the founders of the website A Mensagem de Lisboa.

Nuno Saraiva (Lisbon, 1968) studied Communication Design at IADE, Design at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Lisbon, and Painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Lisbon. He is resident artist at The Lisbon Studio and has been a contributor to practically all Portuguese press outlets, including the weeklies Independente, Expresso, Sol, Record, Público and TimeOut Lisbon.
