The figure of Saint Anthony plays a very special role in the Portuguese cultural imaginary and traditional literature reveals itself to be a privileged field as a form of expression of antonian devotion.

This session will present some of the popular texts that over the centuries have been a part of the tradition of Saint Anthony.
