"At the table in Roman Tróia on the banks of the River Sado" is the title of a conference by archaeologist Inês Vaz Pinto, part of the cycle "At The Table In The Roman Theatre". Each month, a conference tackles the subject of food through the prism of Roman culture – after all, the term "gastronomy" has its origins in a cook from Rome.
