The 15th of August is the holiday of the Assumption of our Holy Lady and in Lisbon is also celebrated by the day that tradition considers to be the birth of its most popular saint, in a house opposite the Cathedral. The coincidence of the date reinforces the great devotion of St. Anthony to our Holy Lady, shown from an early age by the saint from Lisbon. The Museum of Lisbon – Saint Anthony celebrates the date with a programme of free activities.
