Pieces that speak to us

Some emblematic pieces from the collection of the Museum of Lisbon - Roman Theatre are the starting point for this programme of special tours, taking place between April and November 2022.

With the guidance of our museum's expert archaeologists, these visits are unique opportunities to learn more about the stories of these pieces – in terms of both their production and their discovery – and to understand what they have to teach us about the period and the people who used them.

At 3pm, on the last Sunday of every month, we will listen to what these pieces have to say! Whether they are Roman statues, a simple clay pot or a drawing, there are many histories to be found at the Lisbon Museum - Roman Theatre.
