On the day that marks the revolution of 1910, the Museum of Lisbon opens its garden to showcase various revolutions. The temporary exhibition Lisbon in Revolution sets the tone for a celebration of the moments of change that have shaped the life of the city and all of us this October 5th.
Stalls, workshops, games, theatre and music will confirm that there is no end to revolutionary ideas!
PROGRAMME:
10AM – 6PM: Stalls; Revolutionary Quiz
10:30AM – 1PM | 2:30PM – 5PM: The revolution of the press

In a partnership the Museum of Lisbon has developed with the Portuguese Association of Parents and Friends of Citizens with Intellectual Disabilities (APPACDM) since 2015, this theatre production brings together theatre and groups with special needs.
3PM – 5:30PM: Crazy Coconut
The freedom to wear hair out in the open in public spaces and to decorate it according to one's personal taste is an undersung achievement. In this workshop we'll create hairclips using natural and repurposed materials to wear or give away in a creative and personalised celebration of hair.
3:30PM – 6PM: Mural painting
Mural painting on a wall in the pavilion where the exhibition Lisbon in revolution, 1383-1974 is presented, alluding to the theme.
