Slaves and freedmen in Lusitania: What Latin inscriptions have to tell us

The Latin inscriptions featured in the exhibition Ten Stories of Freedom are the starting point for this talk by Sílvia Teixeira, who holds a doctorate in Archaeology from the Faculty of Letters of Lisbon and is a member of the international network TOLETVM, dedicated to the study of the Iberian Peninsula in Antiquity, and of The British Epigraphy Society.
