On a visit to the exhibition The Roaring 20s in Lisbon and to the National Museum of Theatre and Dance, we will dive into the world of the performing arts, particularly theatre, which underwent significant transformations in the 1920s driven by a desire for freedom, the avant-garde and modernism.

New repertoires, authors, set design, music and staging invaded theatres everywhere in parallel with the rise of cinema, which progressively came to feature sound.
