Whether it's in the form of a sculpture, a painting or a photo, a portrait can say a lot about us. The pose we adopt, the expression we make, any objects we hold, all of it contributes to the message we want to convey.

Drawing on the exhibition «Machado de Castro in Lisbon. The Laboratory of Sculpture», participants are challenged to discover the meaning of the equestrian statue of King José and to think about the way we portray ourselves today.
