When the ruins of the Roman Theatre were discovered in April 1798, they were reproduced in a water-colour drawing that same year by the Italian architect Francisco Xavier Fabri. Fabri proved to be a true archaeologist through the care with which he executed the drawing, as we will see on this visit lead by archaeologist Lídia Fernandes, coordinator of the Museum of Lisbon - Roman Theatre.
