Help us St. Anthony!

Handicrafts in the age of COVID-19. Mário Coelho's Collection

11 Dec 2020 — 13 Jun 202111h – 18h

Ticket: 3€ (includes the visit to the Museum)

This exhibition was created in March when the collector Mário Coelho challenged Portuguese artisans to use the image of St. Anthony to show how daily life had been impacted by the pandemic.

Nine months later, the Museum of Lisbon - Saint Anthony displays the surprising and creative response of artisans from across the country, including the islands. Over sixty items reveal the very special relationship that exists between the Portuguese and their compatriot saint who watches over them every day and, of course, protects them in the fight against the pandemic.
