Launch of the book The Three Lives of the Palace

With more than 200 pages, this publication is the result of a research project by historians from the museum and university centres that reveals new information about the Pimenta Palace. The book provides insight into the founder of the palace, the original building, the period when a textile factory was housed here, the alterations carried out between 1833 and 1962, and the complex process of installing the former City Museum, now the Museum of Lisbon, in the building.
