Lisbon on the March ● Bica and Bairro Alto

A walking tour in which the Museum of Lisbon showcases the preparations for the festivities of Santo António. We will highlight the Popular Marches of Lisbon, their importance for the neighbourhoods of the city, as well as the work that is done over many months leading up to the Festival.

We will visit some collectives and get to know the neighbourhoods of Bica and Bairro Alto. 

Percurso em que o Museu de Lisboa mostra a preparação das festas de Santo António. Vamos dar destaque às Marchas Populares de Lisboa, à sua importância para os bairros da cidade, assim como ao trabalho que se desenvolve ao longo de muitos meses que antecedem a Festa.

Viajaremos por algumas coletividades e iremos conhecer os bairros da Bica e do Bairro Alto.
