World Museum Day and Night

In 2022, under the theme "The Power of Museums", the European Night of Museums (14 May) and the International Museum Day (18 May) explore the transformative power of museums on communities, particularly through three fundamental axes: environmental and social sustainability; technological innovation and the promotion of citizenship and democracy. 

To mark these occasions, the Museum of Lisbon has prepared a special programme aimed at all ages and schools to reveal how social and cultural diversity are, and always have been, fundamental aspects in the construction and evolution of Lisbon, in the past, present and future.
