The top floor of the Museum of Lisbon – Pimenta Palace reopens with new content dedicated to Lisbon's role in the colonial slave system, the Inquisition, and four rooms entirely dedicated to the city in the 20th century, as well as narratives associated with the cataclysmic earthquake of 1755 and the city’s subsequent reconstruction.

In order to better reveal the changes to the museum's discourse and the many new features now on display, the Museum of Lisbon's Research team is organising a series of unique guided tours in which they will unveil the choices made and their profound relationship with the city's history.
