African Lisbon. From Ribeira to the Moorish Quarter

A journey in two voices – of the Lisbon Museum and of the Association Batoto Yetu Portugal – made up of stories, resistances, dialogues and silences, between the city's present and past.

From Jardim Sá da Bandeira through Baixa and ending in Mouraria, we discover a territory marked by the invisibility of an African presence which today reclaims the visibility of this key identity in our contemporary city.

The tour ends with a joint dinner at the Mozambican restaurant Cantinho do Aziz in Mouraria from 8pm.
