Exhibition of a set of tile panels from the chapel of Nossa Senhora da Graça, located in Quinta das Águas Férreas in Caneças and acquired by Lisbon Municipal Council in 1984. Dating from the period in the 18th century when the baroque style gave way to rococo, these panels represent episodes or miracles in the life of St. Anthony. The scenes are found in countless chapels and churches dedicated to St. Anthony in Italy and Spain (depicted in murals) and Portugal and Brazil (depicted on tile panels).
