On this route, the Museum of Lisbon reveals preparations for the Santo António festivities, highlighting Lisbon's Popular Marches, their importance for the city's neighbourhoods, and all the work done over many months preceding the festivities in the many communities on the western side of the city, particularly in the Alfama neighbourhood.

In partnership with the Parish Council of Santa Maria Maior, this tour includes a visit to the Cultural Centre Dr. Magalhães Lima, at the heart of Alfama. Magalhães Lima Cultural Centre, the heart of the Alfama March.
