Talk with André Teixeira and Rodrigo Banha da Silva
Free admission, subject to prior registration: reservas@museudelisboa.pt
Never has so much been discovered about Lisbon’s past than in recent decades. Since the 1990s has the city been the subject of several excavations, the results of which have been decisive for providing greater knowledge on different eras of the city. The Manueline era has also benefitted from this intense archaeological dynamic.
On this occasion, André Teixeira and Rodrigo Banha da Silva, professors at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa and members of CHAM – Humanities Centre, will talk about the state of the art of archaeological knowledge of Lisbon during the reign of King Dom Manuel I.
