Percussion in the square

As part of the exhibition Dialogues of fire: Exu, Ogun and Xangô. Saint Anthony in Afro-Brazilian mythology, a group of brazilian percussionists from Coimbra brings Largo de Santo António da Sé to life with their infectious rhythms that combine samba and reggae.

Between the sound of drums, surdos, dobras, repiques and boxes, in choreographed compositions, this group rescues African ancestry and claims Saint Anthony as a saint of the world.
