Reading of St. Anthony's quatrains

The Friends of Lisbon Group and Lisbon City Council, considering that devotion to Saint Anthony is an integral part of the city's cultural heritage, organized another edition of the famous Saint Anthony quatrains competition, which ended on May 31. This initiative was organized in collaboration with the Museum of Lisbon - Saint Anthony and the Portuguese Poets Association. It awarded three winners, who will now present their quatrains at an event hosted by Isabel Dâmaso Santos.
In a tribute to one of the most common traditions of the festivals celebrating Saint Anthony, the Jograis of the Portuguese Poets Association will read the winning quatrains from the 2023 and 2024 competitions.
