A Portuguese film directed in 1927 by Reinaldo Ferreira (the famous Reporter X), based on an adaptation of his book of the same name and examining the notorious murder of the actress Maria Alves in Lisbon.

With prior commentary by exhibition curator Cecília Vaz.
